Throughout my career, I have moved With, From, and Within Flamenco towards contemporary dance and the stage.
Flamenco is my foundation, but from there, I need to connect with other forms of movement and other scenic languages.
That’s why I always strive for you to move from the most organic and natural place within you, so that you can find your own way of dancing comfortably and fluidly.
I understand that flamenco has postures that may feel unfamiliar to your body at first, so I will help you explore movements from your own embodiment.

The first time I stepped onto a stage to dance was when I was 6 years old.
It happened in Granada, my hometown,
at the Isabel la Católica Theater.
I participated with the neighborhood school and danced “La Reja,” a traditional dance from Granada, along with several rumbas.
I remember that when I finished, my grandfather, who was incredibly moved and crying uncontrollably, lifted me up in his arms and hugged me tightly.
Since then, that embrace has been my driving force.
Whenever I need strength, I go back to
that memory to fill myself with the love
my grandfather showed me when he saw
me dance.
From that moment on, dance took on a fundamental role in my life.
Flamenco held me tight, and I organized my world around my passion: dancing Flamenco.
It became my life purpose.
I also had a great interest in writing from a young age,
so even though Journalism was my first choice,
I ended up graduating in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Málaga.
I have worked as a writer for various print media outlets, and a few years ago,
I studied training to become a Copywriter with Javi Pastor.
Now, in addition to articles, I also write to create the texts for beautiful websites,
just like the one you’re reading right now 🙂
I have traveled to countries such as Japan, Norway, Turkey, Morocco, Germany, and France to dance and teach classes.
This is something that fascinates me because while I travel, I get to share my passion and learn about other cultures.
To nourish myself as an artist, I need the magic of flamenco in its traditional format, such as in Tablao settings.
In fact, I have been very happy being one of the main dancers at the Casala Teatro Tablao in Triana, Sevilla, for many years.
However, I also seek encounters with other artistic disciplines.
Like my project of electronic flamenco, El Compás del chino, with which I presented “Sucumbo” at the Flamenco Biennial in Sevilla.
